In celebration of pre-sale tickets for the event, Roppongi in La Jolla is hosting a kick off event. Our very own DJ Demon will be providing the music and entertainment for the evening. Roppongi will be showcasing their new summer “skinny menu” and low calorie cuisine and drinks. The event will have a bikini chic fashion show to tell you the hottest trends in swimwear this season! The event is taking place on May 23rd from 6:00-8:30pm and is RSVP only. DJ Who‘s got a little bit of everything in the Rock Out 048 podcast. There’s alternative, dubstep, rock, and some indie too! The transition from Change by Deftones to Giving In by Adema is a stroke of genius. Keep rocking on to the sounds of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs with Gold Lion, followed by Gotye on Eyes Wide Open. Add some punk with the deliciously funky Woman remixed by Mstrkrft, and end on a classic note with Of Monsters and Men on Little Talks.
Next weekend, DJ Mike Czech will be spinning the turntables at Rock on the Range – this is the BIGGEST rock festival in the States, taking place on May 18, 19, and 20 at Columbus, Ohio. 44 bands will be playing at this rockin’ event including Incubus, Slash, and Marilyn Manson. You can Czech Mike in between the sets of the rock bands on the main stage all three days of the event; as a veteran who’s rocked this gig for 5 years, he’s bound to kill it.
