brings a happiness I can’t describe . The future is in our children .

So I randomly got called to DJ two-three dates in Sundance and within 2 hours from the call I was on a plane.  Last night after getting of the plane and having sushi with some friends, I DJ’ed a Red Bull party and I just so happened to DJ for Pittsburgh Slim and Dirt Nasty which was pretty entertaining.  Either way, here I am, one more day.  Its snowing today, I am about to go walk around Park City and look for some food and check things out.

I had this on CD fresh out of high school in 2000.  Listened to it in my car everyday for months straight until the cd along with many others got stolen from my car.  Fast forward 10 years later in 2010 and I just realized I didn’t have most of the songs in my itunes so I purchased it here!

I made this mix back in 2007 after “The Book of Love. Vol.1″. Its another concept mix, but this time I tried to capture an element not an emotion. The title comes from the classic Dramatics song which I start the mix off with & I tried to maintain a melancholy vibe throughout. Sleeping Giant Music is looking for interns!

Sleeping Giant Music is dedicated to providing positive forms of entertainment to diverse, international, consumer groups and committed to providing a platform to launch successful careers while cultivating the artists we represent, to maximize their potential and grow into independent, competitive, forces within their professions.

As the intern, you will be helping out with our social media marketing campaigns as well as assisting staff with day-to-day office tasks, as needed.

This is an unpaid internship with the possibility of school credit. This would be a great opportunity for students wanting to gain experience in the music business and marketing. We need someone to start ASAP!

Do you have what it takes to be the next SGM intern?
- Someone who is committed, organized, responsible, detail-oriented and interested in gaining experience in the music & marketing field
- Strong work ethic
- Able to follow directions
- Fast learner
- Team player
- Knowledgeable in Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, etc.)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Some college
- Majoring in marketing, communications, business, music, or related field
- Prior experience in the marketing field a plus!
- Available Tuesday – Thursday between 12-5pm
