“Summertime, and the living’s easy…” Summer is just around the corner and SGM is consistently providing you with fresh new DJ mixes and San Diego guest list access to all the hottest clubs.

There is a ton of things going here in the land of the giants. For starters, Miki Vale is making headlines in the SD Reader. Miki’s commitment to the community is the main focus of this interview. Not very many people know this but Miki is the co-founder of the UPliftment Project, which sponsors events by socially aware artists. One of the events is a sack lunch give away to the local homeless and needy. Miki teaches us that we can make a difference in the community. Thank you Miki for spreading the love.

Chris Cutz is making waves on the FM with a mix on San Francisco’s WILD94.9. The show is hosted by E-Rock, who is E-40’s DJ, and showcases party rocking DJ sets by the biggest names in the industry. With over 25,000 subscription based downloads and being #1 in San Francisco for that time slot, a lot of ears heard our boy. As you may recall, Fresh One dropped a mix and our boy Beatnick is next in line.

Be on the lookout for the SGM Podcast! First up is Mikey Beats with his self proclaimed style of “Chick Hop” which will run you through the 90’s and up to current pop, hip hop and rock hits that make the ladies bounce. Demon will be next in line with all local music called, “SD Colleagues.” Fresh One will throw down party rocking mixes and W Steele will be dropping those classics from the golden era of hip hop.

Congratulations to Fresh One! He was recently showcased on E-Rock’s (E-40 DJ) radio show up in San Francisco on Wild 94.9. E-Rock’s radio show receives over 25,000 subscription based downloads for each show and is #1 in San Francisco for that time slot. The DJs who drop mixes on the show are of the highest caliber. Fresh One is the man. Download this mix today! This is after a previous appearance on KSDS 88.3’s local radio show that showcases local underground DJs with host Sachamo. Check that show here.

Mikey Beats made an appearance in a recent issue of Happy Hour Magazine where he plugged just about every person he has ever come in contact with. Needless to say the interview will be most quotable and riddled with punch lines. Check out his press page to view or click here now.
